what is a makerspace?
A Makerspace is a physical location where students work on projects, build, make and create by harnessing the power of creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Often associated with engineering, computer science, and graphic design, makerspaces can also include textiles, sewing, and woodworking. This hands-on approach combined with tools and materials provides the ultimate workshop for the tinkerer and those that learn best by doing.
